In this role you will:

  • Provide product management and direction for software products, with an initial focus on user acquisition, user conversion and user retention for error monitoring products. 
  • Build product roadmaps using insights from data analytics by means of Amplitude and Mixpanel, to enhance user experience research and user testing align with customer needs, engineering capabilities and business direction. 
  • Work with engineering, user experience design, and data science teams to implement product roadmap features and manage the lifecycle of features. 
  • Provide direction to marketing to identify optimizations along the user acquisition funnel and collaborate on implementing integrated solutions. 
  • Interact with customers to explain product capabilities, roadmaps and technical architectures. 
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders, including engineers, sales, customers, customer support groups, and marketing partners, to establish business requirements for software and deliver the optimum user experience for systems operators, developers, architects and it managers. 
  • Create wireframes and requirements documents that illustrate user cases and user experiences. 
  • Utilize agile methodologies to manage software development lifecycles. 
  • Present progress reports to both internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Direct daily operations of departments, analyzing workflow, establishing priorities, developing standards and setting deadlines. 
  • Meet with department heads, managers, supervisors, vendors and others, to solicit cooperation and resolve problems. 
  • Apply knowledge of software monitoring tools like AppDynamics as needed to understand the existing product and the market landscape. 
  • Utilize Objective-C, Android, C/C++ and Java/J2EE to write test versions of software applications to test product updates and competitive software products. 
  • Review project plans to plan and coordinate project activity.

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field 
  • Seven (7) years of progressive Software Development, Product Management, or related experience including three (3) years of: providing product management and direction for software products; developing and managing product roadmaps that align with engineering capabilities, business direction, and customer needs; collaborating with various stakeholders to deliver the optimum user experience for system operators, developers, architects and IT managers; testing new releases, troubleshooting relevant bugs, and resolving issues; launching new products and growing existing products; researching competitive products and identifying market opportunities; training global sales teams on new features and technical instrumentation; creating wireframes and requirements documents that illustrate use cases and user experiences; and utilizing technologies such as C/C++, Java, Objective-C, Android, REST APIs, SQL, Jira, Confluence, AWS, Xcode and Android Studio.
