About the Role:
We're looking for a seasoned Engineering Manager to help us scale the DataGrail Integration Network. The integration network is the foundational layer of the DataGrail platform. You will lead the team while working closely with your peers in Product, Design, and Customer Success. We want you to be passionate about tech, but even more passionate about growing people and their careers. You should thrive in ambiguous situations, and know how to get things done. You likely view leadership as a craft where you're never finished learning.
We’re built on Rails, React, Postgres, and AWS and integrate with hundreds of diverse SaaS and IT systems. You don't need to know these exact technologies (we ❤️ Pythonistas and Gophers too). You don't have to be an expert in all these areas (no one is), but you have to demonstrate some technical expertise.
What You'll Do:
- As an Engineering Manager you will be responsible for leading the team building out the DataGrail Integration Network.
- You will own removing roadblocks for your team, and share a vision of where the team is headed.
- You’ll own leading and hiring a diverse team of software engineers and foster an inclusive work environment.
- You’ll continuously improve the talent on your team by coaching them in their careers
- You’ll work on the business with other leaders at DataGrail. As a leader you are responsible for creating positive change to make DataGrail better! This could include things like making our development process better, bringing in new tools and techniques, or new ideas how we connect more as a team.
- You'll have an opportunity to help scale the DataGrail integration network taking us from on thousand integrations to several thousand.
- You’ll teach software development best practices, structured problem solving, and how to see the big picture.
- You’ll learn how to scale a business, an organization, and a product. We’re building an enduring organization.
- You'll learn how to manage and work with independent software vendors.
- Understand the privacy landscape today and build on its frontier in real time.
What You Need:
- We're looking for someone that has previous experience leading a team for at least 2 years.
- Prior SaaS experience is greatly preferred.
- Remote management experience is preferred, because we're a remote first company!
- This position is remote first focused on candidates in the United States and Canada. Folks located in the Bay Area can choose to work from our downtown San Francisco office.
