General Purpose:

The Front End Developer will be responsible for managing eCommerce website and ensure D2C optimization and functionality.

Position Summary, Responsibilities and Expectations: 

  • Manage eCommerce website and ensure D2C optimization and functionality 
  • Execute site updates for new product launches, performance iterations, and a range of test and learn initiatives 
  • Partner with merchandising team to publish merchandising experiences to drive conversion and basket expansion 
  • Partner with marketing to align on unified user experience and optimize on-site conversion across a full portfolio of product detail and software/service pages 
  • Partner with analytics to identify opportunities and use data driven insights to guide site improvements 
  • Partner with marketing team to develop and test channel specific landing pages  
  • Partner with UX team to translate user flows and wireframes into a cohesive, intuitive customer journey 
  • Work with back end engineers to ensure technical compatibility and optimal site performance 
  • Report to and work closely with Director of Web & eCommerce 

Essential Skills and Experience: 

  • 5-7+ years in front end web development, UX and/or marketing experience a plus 
  • BS/BA in CS, engineering, or other technical field 
  • Experience with front end programming languages: HTML, CSS, Javascript, Angular JS, etc 
  • Proven project management skills with track record of driving performance on cross-functional teams 
  • Expert with web analytics, tracking, & instrumentation 
  • Experience with SAP Hybris, Oracle EBS preferred 
  • Ability to “dive under the hood”: strong analytical deduction and diagnostic ability to find and solve problems 
  • Comfortability operating site management, CMS, and site testing tools 
  • Ability to effectively communicate with architects, project managers, UX, marketing, and other stakeholders to efficiently communicate complex concepts clearly and persuasively
