About the Job
As a Frontend Engineer helping build and scale our product, you will rapidly prototype new ideas, architect and code various user-facing applications. You will define the strategic direction for our broader frontend architecture to enable our product and company to successfully scale. You are somebody who is customer-centric, enjoys building solutions to complex problems, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Role and Responsibilities
- Own all aspects of product development, from prototyping new ideas to architecting and implementing application UX.
- Work with designers to develop delightful and intuitive interfaces and experiences
- Ship features with high quality, monitor and analyze live site, respond to customer impacting features promptly.
- Act as the technical leader, helping with software design/architecture work, coding, and implementation
- Define and drive the strategic direction of the software architecture
Required Skills and Experience
- 5+ years of experience building SPA or PWA frontends
- Experience building highly scalable software systems, scoping requirements, and successfully launching products
- Familiarity with client-side Javascript, Vue.js, SCSS, and AWS technologies would be a plus.
- B.S. in Computer Science or a related field, advanced degree preferred
