You will
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to plan and execute on engineering projects
- Work across our stack to build seamless features on our product
- Drive engineering projects to completion with a sense of urgency
- Interact with our backend services via JSON and GraphQL to access data needed to power web UI’s
- Build for scale, availability, and performance
- Drive quality into our product through code reviews, tests, fixing bugs, etc.
You have
- 5+ years of software engineering experience or coding experience
- BS / MS in Computer Science and/or a solid track record as a software engineer
- You have created large web applications
- Create, interact with, and supported APIs (REST, JSON/HTTP, GraphQL) and have worked closely with app teams
Bonus points
- Experience working in high growth venture-backed startup(s).
- Experience with Ember.js (or other JavaScript frameworks)
- Contribute to open-source projects/libraries
- Experience with Python, Ruby, Elixir
- Experience with DBs - SQL / NoSQL
- Experience with Heroku or AWS
- Experience building and maintaining reliable, performant systems
