As a GSM, you will co-develop process/product enhancement solutions working with top tier foundries & OSAT’s, source & price wafers, packages & components to ensure our products have industry-leading power, performance, area & total cost of ownership (TCO)

Minimum Qualifications

  • BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Physics or Material Science
  • 10-15 years of experience in both IDM and fabless semis - in semiconductor operations and sourcing/supply chain
  • Expertise working on

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to Capex, Substrates, Sockets, Packages, Heterogeneous Integration, Test Lab Instruments, Electrical Testers, etc.
  • Fab Process/Device Engineering background
  • Tier 1 Foundry and OSAT experience
  • Experience with managing supply chains - forecasting, placing orders, managing push/pull techniques
  • Exposure to NPI methodology

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Direct working knowledge on competitive pricing and cost reduction strategies - own the cost model
  • Work with cross-functional teams - work with silicon/yield engineering, program management teams to provide timely decision-making information from foundries, OSATs and component suppliers on process & package development initiatives.
  • Working knowledge at IDM’s & fabless semis at multiple companies to pull in from best of breed methodologies
  • Hands-on individual role with working-level exposure to supply chain management software tools/communication methods: track wafer, die, packages, components and manage inventories for timely delivery to both development projects & upon production release.
  • Tough negotiator, however strikes a good balance/respect in partnering with suppliers.
  • Recommend methodology & pricing improvement roadmaps to ensure our silicon has the best power, performance, area & TCO.
  • Work with foundries & OSAT’s to resolve process/package/test technical & operational issues
