Sony Interactive Entertainment LLC seeks a Manager, Application Security in San Francisco, CA to work with enterprise class application architectures that are highly scalable to perform security checks. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in any field or equivalent, plus five (5) years of experience utilizing secure host, database and application solutions for multi-tier systems. Prior experience must include five (5) years of experience performing validation of security controls to ensure adherence with compliance; utilizing SAST (Static Application Security Tool) by scanning the source code, and analyzing whether remaining security issues can be resolved from the outside; reading code using attack techniques; utilizing DAST (Dynamic Application Security Tool) by running tests for executable applications; scaling security within the software development lifecycle via automation by using tools including source code analyzers, vulnerability scanners, configuration validation and security-related techniques; building and driving a secure development lifecycle program including security training, secure design review, secure architecture review, secure code review, secure testing and incident management; and, performing threat modeling of applications and services.
