The mobile deployment of computer vision and machine learning are at the core of HOVER’s technology and future is becoming an increasingly crucial piece of our tech stack. We’re looking for engineers with deep technical experience in mobile development to join our CV/ML team. You'll join a world class engineering organization and will help the team fulfill technical, operational, and business requirements.

You'll contribute by:

• Architecting mobile deployments of highly performant ML models and CV algorithms
• Guiding engineering decisions to optimize mobile performance
• Driving rapid technical prototyping
• Bridging the gap between prototype and production-ready software

This role is rooted in developing practical applications that can have immediate value to the business. You'll work alongside our team of designers, frontend, backend, graphics, and devops engineers to bring your creations to life. This means that you must not only be able to stay at the forefront of your discipline, but you must also excel at communication and collaboration.

Your background includes: 

• Extensive current experience in Swift, Java, iOS and Android ecosystems
• Proficiency at writing clean, tested, and documented code
• Track record of staying at the cutting edge of your discipline through communication, collaboration, and mentorship opportunities (including code reviews and occasional pair programming)
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal

Nice to have experience:

• Core ML/ML Kit, ArCore/ArKit
• Computer vision experience w/OpenCV and/or a deep learning framework like Tensorflow
• C/C++ or similar languages
