PaaS Engineer (Remote - US)

The role:
We’re looking for a PaaS engineer to help us wrangle some of the most difficult — and rewarding — challenges in infrastructure engineering. You will be expected to partner with cross-functioning as well as specialized teams like SRE and Security in delivering robust, scalable, secure, and resilient solutions. You will need strong software engineering skills, excellent interpersonal communication, and experience accepting and giving meaningful feedback.

What you will do:
- Enhance software development tools, infrastructure, and processes for rapid and reliable delivery.
- Enforce clean code and excellent coding practices by conducting thoughtful code reviews.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to develop tools and solutions in order to identify tactical issues, unnecessary complexity and react to emerging areas of concern.
- Support a DevOps culture by developing internal utilities and other tools that help the SRE and PD teams automate their processes.
What you bring to the table:
- 4+ years of software engineering and strong coding skills
- 2+ years of development experience with Golang
- Knowledge of OOPExperience with developing and maintaining best practices within code repositories
- Experience with test-driven development
- Knowledge of Linux architecture
- Strong Git experience including branching & PR workflowsWilling to learn new frameworks and technologies(AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes)Good problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills.
Bonus experience:
- DevOps practices
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS
- Experience with API design, RESTful web services, and automation frameworks.
- Knowledge in the integration of applications and authentication including Oauth, SAML, and single-sign-on methodologies
