As our IT Architecture and Solutions Principal Architect, you will be a hands-on techno-functional leader with high visibility and ownership in driving architecture and solutions on a number of key Salesforce programs cross functionally. You will primarily be responsible to serve as the subject matter expert in supporting, maintaining and managing our Sales, Support and Marketing applications ecosystem. This is a full-time position at RingCentral HQ in Belmont, CA or Remote US.
12+ years of relevant technical experience
Demonstrated experience in enterprise applications design, architecture & strategy
Demonstrated experience in solution design and enterprise architecture with focus on scalability and automation
Working knowledge in Agile development environment with strong engineering principles (XP, SCRUM)
Architect & Design elegant, innovative Salesforce solutions involving configuration of Salesforce, creation and refinement of complex data models, external integration, business process automation, and other custom functionality
Comprehensive expertise in business analysis, requirement gathering, technical documentation and business process reengineering
Responsible for the Business Capability Map and models, including the management and governance of business capability definitions
Provides overall communication and interfaces with all areas affected by the program/project including cross-functional stakeholders, business sponsors and vendors
Proactive and takes initiative to gather information, investigate gaps / issues, identifies potential solutions from an overall enterprise architecture perspective and presents to both Business and IT stakeholders
Partner with both technical and non-technical peers, architect and design the capabilities and remove any blockers throughout the program lifecycle
Become a trusted partner with the business
Ability to think critically, solve problems, make decisions and build trust across the organization
Review designs, business processes, data flows, quality of data and systems architecture
Run architecture review board
Analyze the health of the business and present recommendations to senior management for strategic decision making and investment
Design and interpret key performance metrics and craft plans to address weaknesses
Work with the Project Manager to manage a project to scope
Guide and coach team members.
Communicate, present, and evangelize best practices
10+ years of Sales, Support and Marketing applications including architecture and design experience with a significant exposure to sales teams
Expertise in Salesforce (Lightning) with 3+ certifications
5+ years of experience designing solutions on Salesforce platform
Experience in developing enterprise applications
Stellar problem-solving skills and strong analytical skills
Excellent negotiation, influencing, collaboration, communication, and presentation skills
Self-driven and self-motivated leader who instills constant curiosity, perseverance and positive energy
Proven cross-functional collaborations and facilitation skills
Deep understanding of enterprise business processes
Ability to learn and adapt quickly
B.S. degree in Computer Science or a related IT field; MBA a plus
