The Principal QA Engineer will be responsible for implementing automated tests that ensure the quality and functionality of our products while eliminating repetitive testing tasks. You will work closely with application developers and Product management teams to ensure a consistent understanding of test requirements and automation approaches. You will work on multiple projects simultaneously, Interact and influence cross-functional teams and management in developing goals and objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide feedback
• Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test and execution plans and test cases
• Estimate, prioritize, plan, work on and coordinate testing activities
• Design, develop and execute automation scripts per the approved designs
• Perform thorough regression testing after feature development/enhancement or when bugs are resolved
• Develop and apply test plans for new and existing products to meet stakeholder requirements
• Must have extensive hands-on experience devising test plans, product and system validation, and implementing automation
• Bring innovation, and creativity towards automation of functional, performance, and stress testing 
• Participate fully in our Agile/Scrum development process
• Work on multiple projects simultaneously. 

Requirements:

• BS/MS in in Computer Science 
• 10+ years of software engineering experience, with focus on software quality assurance 
• Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle, testing methodologies, QA terminologies
• Strong understanding of the QA process – test plan preparation, test tool identification and network design/implementation
• Strong experience with both manual and automated testing
• Strong experience with Selenium, Java, SQL, CI Tools , GIT, Jenkins
• Software Automation – scripting and/or programming using Java
• Experience with REST API testing frameworks
• Provides leadership guidance to the team.
• Develop and manage the CI/CD process 
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
