We’re currently looking for:
A talented Sr. Software Engineer to join the RingCentral Engage Voice Engineering team at our Belmont, CA or Boulder, CO location to work on our mission-critical Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS) offering. In this position, you will work with management, architects, and engineers to help, inform, and understand the product roadmap. You’ll be responsible for creative problem solving and building new solutions in a micro service-oriented, distributed, high-performance enterprise CCaaS platform. You’ll work side-by-side with on-shore and off-shore teams, actively engage in code reviews with engineers across multiple disciplines and help to elevate the quality of the code and the product. This is an opportunity to enter a high visibility position at a critical moment in our growth.
Your role:
Design, develop, test, and deploy software for our Telephony/Media services.
Take the features from design to deployment.
Perform code reviews.
Develop and maintain automation of code deployment (AWS, k8s, CI/CD, etc)
To succeed in this role you must have experience in:
Experience developing Telephony and Media processing software
Good knowledge of SIP/RTP, WebRTC, and other real-time communication protocols
Java Software development experience
Experience working with a dynamic Asterisk dial plan is a strong plus.
Experience with SIP proxies (Kamailio, OpenSIPS) is a plus
Experience with Kafka is a plus.
Development tools (git, Ansible, Jenkins, Docker, Helm)
Experience with cloud media infrastructure (load balancers, gateways, SBCs, STUN, TURN) is a strong plus
Experience working with AWS, Kubernetes is a plus.
