General Purpose:

• The Product Engineer is responsible for introduction of new products and processes into mass production, manages test process, improves production yield, throughput, and product quality.
• Supports cooling and ambient lighting product lines.

Position Summary, Responsibilities and Expectations:

• Drives DVT to MP phase of new product introduction at factory and contracted manufacturers
• Reviews PRD and reliability test plan ensure all failure modes are screened at production test
• Reviews DFM with design engineers, mechanical engineers and quality teams to ensure new products meet design for manufacturability guidelines in cost, quality, and yield
• Drives CAPA/8D on product quality issues through online reviews, forums, RMA returns and resolve in a timely manner. Ensures corrective actions back into manufacturing
• Ensures factory capacity, equipment, material, and workforce are in place to meet Corsair demand
• Ensures reverse logistics processes and rework strategy in place after new product launch
• Work with suppliers to develop continuous improvement plans on manufacturing processes to increase yield
• Continue to look for opportunities to improve the process and quality during NPI process

Essential Skills and Experience:

• 5 years in Product Engineering or equivalent
• Background in thermal system especially coolant system and air cooling  
• Degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Experience with consumer products is a plus
• Understanding Chinese (Mandarin) is a plus
