We are looking for a QA leader passionate about automation, creating test automation frameworks and driving a culture of quality through the Engineering organization. Experience with testing mobile apps, backend APIs and web front end as well as the variety tools and strategies needed to support these tests is essential. More than a set of skills, we are looking for someone who is curious, collaborative, great at communicating, highly technical and is always willing to learn. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create a culture of transparency, ownership, collaboration, accountability and quality
• Build a high-performing team and lead the team to embrace new ideas that produce outstanding results for customers
• Apply your understanding of Test Automation and software engineering best practices to influence design and implementation approaches and solutions
• Develop strong cross-functional relationships with partners and stakeholders across the business
• Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities with the product management and development teams
• Improve manual tests, automated tests, frameworks and tools to meet best practices and standards
• Design, create and maintain reusable and representative test data to support test designs
• Work closely with Product Managers, Developers, DevOps and Release Management to make sure we deliver high quality products.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications:

• Familiarity with agile software development processes
• 10+ years working in software development
• 7+ years experience with test management and test automation tools 
• Current Ruby on Rails experience
• Strong communication and management skills
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related technical field
• Highly technical with recent hands on experience
• Experience with consumer facing applications
• Experience with mobile testing
• Experience with modern cloud infrastructure including AWS, Kubernetes, Docker or similar

Preferred Qualifications:

• Thrive in fast-paced, autonomous environments, where your contributions make a difference
• Experience writing comprehensive test plans, test cases, and black box testing; whatever comes your way
• Are passionate about automation and have experience not only using test tools and building automated tests, but designing & building custom test solutions
• Experience with HIPAA compliance or HITRUST certification
