About the Role
We are looking for a leader to develop a framework and build a team to bring our prototypes to life as reliable products that our customers will love.
About the Work
Work with the development team to develop a modular, testable architecture that accelerates our technologies to market
Work to establish tests and infrastructure to early integration testing of our robots. Build a team around this function for continuous upgrade testing and SW regression testing
Lead and support an established Reliability and FA (failure analysis) Team, help develop test infrastructure for module, reliability, and vehicle tests
Lead and develop a team to capture and incorporate learnings from our fielded operations robots
Work with safety engineers to verify system requirements of various modules
Coordinate equipment, tools, and resources needed to debug and resolve issues in a timely manner
About You
Experience managing multi-disciplined teams, including EEs, MEs, and SWEs
Experience turning hardware requirements into test plans and creating metrics to communicate issues
Skilled in hands-on troubleshooting at circuit board level, vehicle level, and software
Independently-driven; able to learn about complex hardware systems quickly
Excited to work in a fast-paced startup environment; advancing projects from concept/development phase through launch and mass production
Experience reading schematics, spinning mechanical CAD, and vehicle CAD
Knowledge of Verilog, C/C++, or Python for automated testing is a huge plus
