The Role:

We are looking for a Salesforce.com Developer to join us for a 4-month contract. In this role, you will aid in the development and maintenance of Salesforce.com Sales Cloud and drive the migration from Salesforce Classic to Lightning. 

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement and deploy Salesforce.com based cloud application solutions to internal business teams within Unison
  • Anticipate potential problems, consider future trends, assess the opportunities, impacts, and risks while developing and implementing solution deliverables
  • Build business logic into visual workflows, focused on positive user experience
  • Provide technical design, integration architecture, and solution recommendations
  • Partner with internal engineering teams, third party vendors to develop consistent solutions and functional integrations
  • Responsible for design and code review, and release management
  • Apply best practices and technical business experience to Salesforce solutions, including design trade-offs and communication of design decisions

Requirements:

  • Solid understanding of Classic and Lightning components
  • Salesforce.com Administrator and Platform Developer certified
  • Analytical, consulting and communication skills
  • Salesforce Sales Cloud Domain and Lightning experience
  • Complex data analysis, data migrations, and system integration of software products into complex IT environments
  • Integration with third party systems
  • Agile development methodology such as SCRUM
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce Objects and Data Model
  • Understanding of Salesforce Governor Limits and Code Coverage
  • Solid understanding of Salesforce Standard Objects and business processes around them

What you bring to the team:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS/CIS or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of Salesforce.com enterprise wide development experience
  • At least one large Salesforce implementation project involving multiple releases, change management process, and/or multi-locale deployment
  • Excellent knowledge of integration design and development best practices, governor limits, code reviews, etc.
  • Experience designing test plans, performing unit testing, and writing test classes to ensure proper code coverage
  • 5 years of relevant experience with emphasis in applications and systems engineering development, database and 2+ Years of Lightning Development
  • 5 + years of experience working with the salesforce customer portal, web services, Apex, SOQL, Visual Force, Eclipse IDE, DataLoader, Reports, and Dashboards
  • 5 + years of experience working development, interacting with the client and other vendors; participation & support for UAT, and support release
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
