The Role
Information security is paramount to what we do. Step is looking for a Security Engineer to focus on product and company information security. This is an opportunity to start early, help us build a security program at Step. You are a self-starter who is comfortable working cross-functionally with other teams across Step.
Responsibilities
- Be a security subject matter expert and respond to any internal security engineering questions/request
- Work in a small, tight knit cross-functional team
- Work with other teams to help architect solutions that are inherently secure
- Effectively balance security risk and product advancement
- Oversee penetration testing
- Build threat models
- See your contributions make a weekly impact to an evolving product
Qualifications
- 5+ years relevant work experience
- Well versed in Cloud Infrastructure and Mobile Application Security
