As a Video Players Specialist on Reddit’s Media Delivery Team, you’ll use your knowledge of debugging, profiling, and writing efficient code. You'll collaborate with a cross-functional team to help Reddit become an efficient content-serving machine. This is a critical role for enabling Reddit's future growth plans. We're looking for engineers who can contribute on any of the following platforms: iOS, Android, or Web. 

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience developing client-side video solutions on iOS or Android or web.
  • Strong preference is given for deep experience with any of:
    • Video player implementation
    • Video analytics
    • CDNs and global distribution
    • Streaming video
    • Python
    • Machine learning
    • Computer vision
