Position: Senior DevOps Engineer
Location: San Jose, CA

Responsibilities/What You'll Do:

• Develop and deliver automation software to improve the commit workflow.
• Deploy and Monitor cloud applications in the Public Cloud Infrastructure such as AWS and Azure. 
• Deploy and Monitor cloud infrastructure.
• Develop self-service, self-healing, synthetic monitoring and alerting platform and tools
• Develop, manage, and deploy jobs in the Build and test automation tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo.
• Champion and drive the adoption of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices and mindset
• Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and cloud services.
• Collaborate with other core development team members to define roadmap, design, and build solutions.

NOTE: U.S. Citizenship and residency is required for this position due to the nature of customers assigned to this role

Qualifications/Your Background:

• 5+ years experience in a SaaS/ Cloud/Distributed environment growing at rapid scale
• Minimum 2+ years of scripting experience (Bash, Python) is required
• Experience with automation frameworks (Ansible preferred, Chef, Puppet, Terraform) and CI-CD tools (Jenkins, Bamboo)
• Strong Linux skills, FreeBSD specific experience is a plus
• Basic Networking skills (TCP/IP, DNS, LACP, CARP) for testing and troubleshooting is required
• A working understanding of code and script (C, C++, Python, Perl)

Education:

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar discipline with MS degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering preferred
