The Opportunity:

We are looking for a Snaplogic Developer (or Talend background) to join our growing team. In this role you will Participate in project teams to design, develop, test and release ETL ELT integrations following business, architectural, and service requirements.

This individual will work with our other teams to build standard services and models to rapidly scale and expand our UT community's needs. Support activities include incidents, service requests, defects, enhancements, upgrades, patches, and service improvement initiatives.

Other Essential Duties include but are not limited:

  • Work collaboratively with project teams to gather requirements and translate functional specifications into technical designs for implementation and deployment
  • Build extensible data and systems integration solutions to meet the functional and non- functional requirements of the business. Troubleshoot issues or incidents; apply bug fixes and application updates
  • Create data integration standards according to the organization's information services policies as well as best practices. Document and promote an integration development guideline
  • Provide sizing, effort, and delivery estimates for project requests. Produce progress reports; articulate risks or issues impeding a successful implementation; present progress to project team
  • Engage in related communities to stay abreast of new tools and development solutions, best practices, and standards.
  • Engage as a catalyst for change within the organization to support an integration platform

What We’re looking for in this Role:

  • Min 3 to 5 yrs. experience as a Snaplogic Developer (or Talend background)
  • 3+ years of Data Warehousing/data integration experience with at least 2 years as an ETL as a Lead
  • Work on Snowflake/SFDC/SQL Snaps and integration technologies - Data Warehouse, PL/SQL, Snowflake/MySQL/PG
  • Experience with developing Snaplogic frameworks for code reusability
  • Experience building Snaplogic integration jobs to load SFDC,AWS S3, MySQL and Snowflake
  • Strong data modeling skills, both dimensional and relational.
  • Warehouse Design, Development, ETL Tuning and Support
  • Analyze & translate functional specifications /user stories into technical specifications.
  • Develops and maintains standards procedures and methodologies for effective operation access control
  • Building complex mappings with JSON path expressions, Python scripting background a plus.
  • Document functional and technical design.
  • Has the ability to work with business and system owners to obtain requirements and manage expectations working with both business and technical stakeholders
  • SQL knowledge and experience
  • Experience in Project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects. (JIRA/Confluence)
  • Knowledge of Data Structure & Algorithms
  • Good written and verbal communication capabilities
  • Strong experience in coordinating with the Business Analysts to understand business requirement, functional requirements, and conversion of business rules into technical specifications
  • Proven ability to work independently or in conjunction with a team.
