Job Description

As a Senior Foundry Development Engineer at Butterfly, you will lead the charge to revolutionize ultrasound. You will be working closely with your colleagues on the ASIC, MEMS design, Testing, Packaging and Image teams to develop, integrate and optimize the future of ultrasound technology. Not only will you be involved in evolving the architecture, you’ll be on the front-lines configuring the system and modifying the software and hardware to achieve your objectives.

The Senior Foundry Development Engineer will work to develop the MEMS fabrication processes, improve yield, optimize manufacturing control flow, participate in quality improvement projects, and complete other MEMS Technology duties as assigned.

 Qualifications

  • M.S. (PhD preferred) in EE, Physics, or related field with 5-10 yrs of applicable experience
  • Extensive knowledge of MEMS design and processes
  • Experience in semiconductor foundry development for MEMS projects
  • Experience in production launch and manufacturing
  • Experience in a foundry operation environment
  • Strong programming skills in one or more in the programming languages (Python, C++, Java, MATLAB) is a plus
