As a Senior Information Automation Engineer, you will work to drive automation and security improvements spanning account and identity management, computer & OS security, enterprise application security and network security. You will work in close collaboration with the IT organization and the GRAIL Information Security team to select and implement improvements with the greatest impact. Building out the tools, process and automation strategy to support scale is key to this role.

You Will:

  • Implement automated security protections in our network, account/ID mgmt, enterprise application stack, fleet of devices and across our user base.
  • Work constructively across a diverse user community to address automation gaps.
  • Deploy system platforms and tools to improve how information and enterprise systems are managed at GRAIL.

Your Background Should Include:

  • Typically a minimum of 7+ years of directly related information security and automation experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated positive collaboration skills with key stakeholders and system users to deliver robust systems and compelling results.
  • Demonstrated creativity, problem solving and attention to detail in design, implementation and operational execution of infosec design patterns in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • A passion for continuous process improvement, lifelong learning and making an impact.
  • Strong scripting and automation experience in account/ID management, application provisioning, fleet management.
  • Knowledge of risk assessment tools, technologies and methods.
  • Experience with secure network, systems and application architectures and practices.
  • Knowledge of disaster recovery, technologies and methods.
  • Professional experience in a system administration role supporting multiple platforms and applications across a large user base.
  • Experience with endpoint security solutions that include functions like User Behavior Analytics, File Integrity Monitoring or Data Loss Prevention.
  • Preferred life sciences / Biotech sector experience in a regulated environment GxP, FDA, ISO 13485, etc.
