This role will lead DevOps Team focusing on RingCentral’s internal data platforms in production and non-production environments. The candidate will define the approach and promote best practices to ensure that internal data platforms satisfy the highest stability, scalability, and compliance standards.
This role will also be responsible for building and maintaining monitoring tools for an Enterprise Data Warehouse, business intelligence and analytics solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of DevOps engineers in infrastructure upgrade and expansion projects.
- Maintain the established change management protocols (release schedules, smoke checks, post-mortem meeting etc.).
- Establish and maintain efficient monitoring processes around batch jobs and streaming data pipes.
- Maintain production incident management framework. Schedule and facilitate the post-event debriefs to identify lessons learned and opportunities for improvement.
- Manage utilization reports for cloud components and participate in capacity planning and budget estimation.
- Promote best practices in system design and actively contribute to architectural decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in IT and other departments to -
- facilitate Enterprise Data Warehouse operational processes and standards
- improve production system resiliency and stability
- ensure IT compliance (SOC2 , GDPR, etc.)
- establish global incident resolution process
- support Risk Management initiatives
Qualification:
- 5+ years of DevOps management or related experience
- Hand-on experience working with SQL databases in the local and cloud environments
- Excellent problem solving and analytical thinking skills
- Deep understanding of software development lifecycle best practices
- An ability to architect and implement a business process in a complex and fast changing environment
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and relationship building skills, and ability to achieve results without direct reporting relationships
- Strong sense of personal responsibility and accountability for delivering high quality work, both personally and at a team level

If you are hired in Colorado, the compensation range for this position is between $110,000 and $150,000 for full-time employees, in addition to eligibility for variable pay, equity, and benefits. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, health and wellness, 401k, ESPP, vacation, parental leave, and more! The salary may vary depending on your location, skills, and experience.
