One by one, we’re rebuilding e-commerce infrastructure to make it less fragmented, less bloated, and more efficient. To solve such a large problem, we've put together an incredible team and are selectively growing it.


While rebuilding the e-commerce infrastructure, security is right front and center. The Security Engineering team believes in doing more with less through automation. We are looking to build a Security Operation Center (SOC), to consolidate all the security relevant data into a central location, so that threats can be spotted faster and more efficiently.


The SOC will leverage tools and technologies from third party vendors, open source software and where necessary build tools in-house to fill in the gaps.

You'll

  • Enhance our current monitoring systems (Datadog) for visibility and detection of live intrusions and triage alarms in real-time.
  • Develop orchestration and automation between security tools to react to security incidents, using Security automation and orchestration (SOAR)
  • Develop solutions to mitigate security vulnerabilities
  • Report on evaluations and make recommendations for improvements
  • Plan and conduct wargames with the Red team

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in Security industry with 3+ years as a SecOps engineer
  • A skilled security expert, who can build tools and processes to incorporate threat intelligence into our tools and automate threat hunting
  • Using the tools at your disposal detect, identify and troubleshoot security events that are generated
  • Ability to effectively work with and contribute to a close-knit team while also being a self-starter are critical to success
  • Organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple reviews and tasks at the same time are essential
  • Ability to communicate with upper management/executive level, lawyers, Information security and non-IT colleagues as well as Third party contacts is a must
  • Ability to work autonomously in a fast paced, cross-functional environment, and comfort with ambiguity
