Senior Software Engineer - Android
- Build new features (while squashing bugs) for our growing Android app to extend device support across the Android ecosystem
- Learn to build new features across our platforms with support from other engineers. You will work in every platform and have ownership over the full funnel
- Work on meaningful, large-scale, mobile-first initiatives to let users to have more delightful conversations
- Architect elegant and maintainable code with a focus on autonomy and support from the team
- Build features to improve the experience specifically for mobile users (this is still an open ended problem here! Help us come up with great new ideas) using Kotlin and RxJava
- Collaborate with design, data, and other teams to build beautiful interfaces that look great and run smoothly
- Guide and improve the technical direction of mobile, bolstering the technical foundational, improving performance, and re-architecting
- Understanding of Android development frameworks and app fundamentals
- 4+ years of experience developing and shipping real-world Android applications of a very high quality and polish
- Strong product sense and pursuit for good user experience
