Quantcast is hiring Senior Software Engineers to join the Product Engineering team in our San Francisco office.

As the real-time pulse of the Internet, Quantcast uses machine learning to drive human learning. As a Senior Software Engineer on our Ads Manager team, you will help us navigate the digital advertising space and build the next generation marketing platform for the open internet. You will leverage Quantcast’s unique position as a trusted partner of publishers to help marketers reach their audiences with ease and confidence. You will hear from our customers and strive to use your experience to create the most seamless product experience.

You will also be part of a nurturing environment where we help each other grow and learn. You will be trusted to undertake major initiatives that have substantial impacts on customers and Quantcast. You will be in charge of scaling our application to meet the demands of our growing customer base.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement and operate complex technical systems to deliver product features
• Coordinate with other teams to identify and resolve the cross-team dependencies
• Lead the planning and execution of large projects to drive business outcome
• Support and develop the members of the team by providing regular and constructive feedback on code, design, and process
• Share knowledge and best practices within the team and among the broader engineering organization.
• Participate in team-wide on-call rotations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degrees in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 4+ years of industry experience in software development
• Deep understanding of various web technologies, distributed computing, and MVC frameworks.
• Excellent command of one or more programming languages in Java, Python, Javascript, Kotlin, or Go
• Experience with developing consumer-facing web applications using React, Redux, or Typescript.
• Passion for new technologies and driven to build the best products.
• Experience with GraphQL, Spring, and gRPC is a big plus.

Recognizing the importance of flexible work environments, Quantcast is implementing a hybrid work model which will take effect October 18, 2021. The model gives employees the opportunity to work from home two days a week and work in the office for team collaboration three days a week.
