The Conversion team helps more users successfully connect their financial institutions by building the best-in-class onboarding experience in the FinTech ecosystem. Today we primarily focus on Link, which is how millions of users interact with Plaid in some of the most popular apps in the world.

As a full-stack engineer on the team, you’ll work on a mix of quick experiments and longer-term strategic initiatives that are core to Plaid’s continued success. Even small changes, such as changing an animation, have lifted conversion for all of Plaid’s customers by 1%. We exercise a hypothesis-driven mindset and frequently consult data to guide our development. Every team member is deeply involved in shaping our roadmap and coming up with their own experiments to test.

• 7+ years of experience building web applications
• A record of mentoring experienced engineers around you and helping them grow
• True full stack experience with Golang, React, and/or TypeScript
• Familiarity with principles of experimentation/AB testing
• Working on Growth Engineering teams in the past
