As a Software Engineer on this team, you will be helping us replicate complex road situations in our simulated environments to improve our autonomous performance in the real world. Specifically, you will design and implement our test creation tooling that converts thousands of miles of road data into 2D/3D simulation at large-scale. You will also be responsible for the orchestration involved in the development and release of an automated test and validation pipeline and integrating with our cloud-based infrastructure.
What you’ll be doing:
- Build reliable and scalable simulator tools and frameworks to support AV development.
- Research and implement authoring and validation tools to ensure our scenarios/tests reflect realistic on-road situations.
- Validate and evaluate the performance of our models and software.
- Collaborate with System Engineers and System Test Engineers to design and implement new features.
