Title: Senior Software Engineer

Duties: The Senior Software Engineer (multiple positions available) at Chime Financial, Inc. in San Francisco, California will build our new banking platform from the ground up that is highly reliable, scalable, and will serve as the backbone for Chime. Design, develop, test, and deploy a new banking platform from scratch. Deliver secure, reliable, and high-performance infrastructure and APIs. Work with our infrastructure engineering team to minimize the operational overhead of production systems hen deploys. Develop thoroughly tested code and conduct quality assurance on all new code alongside our QA team.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a directly related field, plus 6 years of experience designing large scale core data platforms and distributed systems. The 6 years of experience must include 4 years of experience with each of the following: (1) Designing and developing scalable backend systems; (2) Designing and developing scalable APIs and self-scaling infrastructure; (3) Designing and developing processes in breaking up monolith systems into service oriented architecture; and (4) Designing algorithms to scale routing to support several clients and services.
