The Team
The Digital Employee Experience team is a customer-focused internal business innovation and engineering team chartered with delivering radical, emergent digital employee experience solutions. Now, more than ever, businesses need a platform that orchestrates all of the complex workflows to enable existing systems and processes across their businesses to work better together. The Role
- Conceptualize, design and deliver strategic and technical direction for the next generation digital experience
- Lead technical direction on integrating multiple platforms and systems across the NOW platform
- Serve as an industry thought leader, to influence and develop scalable strategies, frameworks, and architectures
- Collaborate with product managers and the business issues/risks and required mitigation to ensure delivery of end-to-end strategic digital workplace design
- Act as the solution wide functional subject matter expert embedded within a larger delivery team
- Analyze technologies and frameworks internal and external to ServiceNow to evaluate their fitness for the NOW platform.
- Gather data and synthesize information highlighting associated risks and changes needed for success to the various program owners and key stakeholders to drive an integrated roadmap
- Help facilitate decisions based on a deep understanding of how a process or system change in may affect other processes, systems or people and promote approaches to identify a shared purpose from multiple stakeholders
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you have:
Must haves:
- 5+ years' experience in large scale design and implementation of ServiceNow Platform architecture, platforms and tools, including IT, HR and Customer Workflows
- 5+ years' hands-on development skills in Java, JavaScript, Any UI centric language
- 10+ years' hands-on experience designing, developing and architecting platform technologies, including portal and mobile solutions
Nice to have (In order of desireability)
- ServiceNow certifications preferred: Certified Application Developer
- Good understanding of advanced technologies in Automation, AI/ML, Virtual Agent, Cloud, SaaS, PaaS, etc.
- Experience leading technical, business and functional discussions with internal product, design, build and test.
- Expert level strategic engagement skills, including influencing and leading blueprint, roadmap, tradeoff and risk discussions with cross functional stakeholders and executives
- Experience providing overall technical leadership and ensuring designs are aligned to the architecture principles

- Master's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience

Work personas are categories that are assigned to employees depending on the nature of their work. Employees will fall into one of three categories: Remote, Flexible or Required in Office.
Required in Office
A required in office work persona is defined as an employee who is contracted to work from or aligned to a ServiceNow-affiliated office. This persona is required to work from their assigned workplace location 100% of the work week based on the business needs of their role.
Flexible
A flexible work persona is defined as an employee who is contracted to work from or aligned to a ServiceNow-affiliated office and will work from their assigned workplace location roughly 3 days/week or less (generally around 40-60% of the work week). Flexible employees may choose to work the remaining working time from their workplace location or home. Flexible employees are required to work within their state, province, region, or country of employment.
Remote
A remote work persona is defined as an employee who performs their responsibilities exclusively outside of a ServiceNow workplace and is not contracted or aligned to a ServiceNow-affiliated office, including those whose place of work (pursuant to their terms and conditions of employment) is their home. Remote employees are required to work within their state, province, region, or country of employment.
