Within the Medium Segment Native Cloud Solutions at Sage, our team helps keep our public and private cloud-based infrastructure and SaaS application highly available and scalable. 

The team you will join has broad expertise in Systems Engineering, Cloud Infrastructure Management (public and private), networking, and monitoring. You will help to develop, extend and maintain our mission-critical infrastructure while ensuring reliability and performance. 

This role works in partnership with cross-functional teams maintaining our existing and forthcoming technology stack.

Responsibilities:

  • Attain comprehensive understanding of Sage Intacct's highly customized production cloud infrastructure.
  • Develop, test and coordinate the conversion and/or integration of new automation tools to enhance manageability and observability of Sage Intacct's private and public cloud.
  • Assists in the evaluation and recommendation of automation tools for various production operations teams (SRE, DBAs, Cloud Ops, Application/Systems, Security/Audit etc)
  • Manage tools repository, design and implement unit tests.
  • Lead and drive projects from idea formulation, to design, and to implementation

Requirements:

  • Significant experience with Architecture and Software Engineering (SDLC). Delivering initiatives in public and private cloud.
  • Hands-on experience and understanding of serverless computing concepts and microservices.
  • Significant hands-on experience in design and development of web-based systems.
  • Demonstrable experience with modern Server-side languages (Python and Node), AWS Cloud SDKs (boto), Infra as Code (Terraform) and Configuration Management (Ansible). 
  • Significant experience with linux platforms (preferably Centos) and extensive scripting skills (preferably Bash) 
  • Exceptional team player with excellent oral and verbal communication skills who works well in collaborative environments.
  • Self-managed, fast learner with the desire and ability to master new technologies
