Sage Intacct is looking for a skilled Software Application Engineer to build testing and automation tools and applications. You will be responsible for building, implementing, and maintaining automation frameworks. The ideal candidate works effectively when given specific design instructions, can implement solutions independently, and can maintain the tools moving forwards, prioritizing and handling all enhancement requests.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop functional, performance, scalability and reliability tools to streamline our development process
• Design and develop reporting tools and dashboards for engineering and management
• Design, develop, and enhance the existing test automation frameworks
• Design and develop tool integrations
• Contribute to our Continuous build and deployment systems
• Provide day-to-day coordination on projects and tasks
• Explore, train and adapt new technologies, tools, and programming languages, as required by project development, to provide best options for software/scripts/tools development.
• Build, manage, and maintain the integration between engineering, deployment and management tools with the automated test frameworks

Requirements:

• BS or MS (MS preferred) in Computer Science
• 10+ years of software engineering experience
• Experience developing software tools and applications and integrations
• Experience with programming languages like Java, PHP, and JavaScript
• Familiarity with IDE and developing plug-ins
• Experience with Linux environments and scripting languages like Shell and Python
• Experience with SQL and Postman
• Experience with Software Version Control systems like Git/GitHub
• Experience with Continuous Integration systems (for example, Jenkins)
• The ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously
• The ability to work independently and locate available information
