The Zoom Client Application team is here to perform client application development for Zoom Meeting, Zoom Webinar, Zoom Chat, and Zoom Phone on Windows. Our team is looking to bring on a Software Engineer who is passionate in the field. In this role, you will utilize your knowledge of client application programming to scale instant messaging on Windows.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the design, development and maintenance of the cross-platform interface of the IM client

• Responsible for the implementation of the agreement and business logic with the background server

• Responsible for the interface and function realization with the front-end application layer

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related

• 3 years of software programming experience 

• Rich cross-platform C++ development experience

• Familiar with common data structures, algorithms, and design patterns

• Have practical experience in code refactoring and client architecture design

• Have a passion for work and good team communication and collaboration skills

Bonus skills:

• Windbg, LLDB, GDB debugging experience

• SQLite, SQLCipher development experience

• Understand PKI/CA certification and have experience in using OpenSSL

• Have experience in using gloox, libevent, curl and other open source projects
