Software Engineer - Common Data Services

The Common Data Services team is looking for a Software Engineer who will design and develop common services for Data Infrastructure as a Platform.

Responsibilities
- As an engineer in Common Data Services team, you will design, create, deploy and maintain a set of common data services which include but not limited to:
- Structured data
- Unstructured data
- Images
- Secure data storage. (ex. Data vault)
- Data de-identification services
Requirements
- BS/MS in Computer Science or related degrees.
- 3+ years of relevant experience with software engineering, having experience with a Cloud provider (preferably AWS Airflow, AWS Glue, Lambda and step functions).
- Skills like data pipelines, ETL, data warehousing, workflow systems, etc. Big data technologies like Spark, AWS Redshift, Hadoop, etc.
- Knowledge of Python, Golang
- Experience with Relational Databases (Mysql & Postgres)
- Exposure to project management tools such as JIRA
- Experienced with building scalable, resilient, compliant systems.
- Working knowledge of microservices and serverless architecture.
- Experience developing people and teams through coaching, mentoring, and feedback.
- Experience building cross-functional relationships and working with other teams to deliver projects.
- Very good communication skills, both verbally and written.
- Ability to work as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Bonus
- DevSecOps experience in a cloud environment.
- Experience in the healthcare / life sciences industry.
- Experience in a fast paced startup environment.
- Experience with machine learning and statistics.
- Experience with serverless architecture
