We’re changing how people move by live-mapping the world. We are the developer platform for location.

As a software engineer, you’ll be fully engrained onto our teams and products from day 1. Depending on your experiences and interests, you could work in the following teams; Data Services, Navigation, Maps, Search or Platform. If you have a strong understanding of CS fundamentals, and are excited by a fast-paced, collaborative work environment, we encourage you to apply!

What You'll Do 

• Learn programming languages and frameworks on the fly
• Collaborate with our talented team of engineers, product managers, and operators
• You leave the code in a better state than when you found it (progressive refactor)
• You value reliability, ensured by automated testing (unit, integration and load tests)
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and distribute knowledge
• Continuous integration and deployment

What We Believe are Important Traits for This Role

• Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals (B.S./M.S./Ph.D. in Computer Science preferred)
• Prior industry experience in software engineering and/or fast high growth startups (preferred)
• Be a self-starter and possess strong sense of self-motivation; mistakes will happen along the way but we grow from them
• Eagerness to be part of learning and teaching community; collective IQ is key! 
• Desire to own product development from end-to-end, including research, design, and implementation
