Software Engineer - Product (Backend)
The product engineering team strives to make interacting with financial data not only better but delightful. We believe that the key to solving finance’s biggest problems lies in meeting modern user expectations. As the gateway for thousands of applications like Acorns, Stripe, or Venmo, Plaid’s platform calls for innovative problem solvers interested in taking on the complex challenges that exist in the financial ecosystem and scaling developer and user-facing systems to millions of users!
We are looking for engineers who understand what it means to build the high-performance systems and APIs that power our customers’ use cases. This means being able to work across the stack when needed, but spending most of your time building backend systems and expressing those via well-designed APIs. Most of our back-end core systems are written in Go, but that's not a prerequisite. We pick the right tool for the job and have systems in Go, TypeScript, and Python.
