Product engineers build and operate the full-stack apps which power the user experience for all of our audiences. We build mobile and web apps for members seeking care and advice, workflow and case management apps for our care team, and we lead the application platform underneath those apps. 


We take a lot of pride in providing a digital experience that improves member’s healthcare outcomes. We demonstrate end to end ownership, collaborating closely with product and design partners to build the right thing, and build it well. We showcase the insights from the data and research teams, delivering a personalized experience that is relevant to the member, so members feel like Grand Rounds Health just gets them.


We are a fast-moving team that delivers on improvements to the current features, build out new features, run product experiments, and invest in under-the-hood changes to make our code more reliable, maintainable, and scalable. We are looking for engineers who love to deliver amazing products to users, collaborate across teams and functions, and take strong ownership of how they deliver work.

About you:

  • You are currently working on your BS in Computer Science or related field with graduation date Winter 2021 or Spring/Summer 2022
  • You optimize for impact over progress and love getting stuff done
  • You are an exceptional problem solver utilizing first-principles thinking
  • You have a solid understanding of full-stack web development, including modern frontend frameworks, APIs, and backend services 
  • You have strong programming skills, CS fundamentals
  • You are a self-starter and motivated learner
  • You have a strong desire for professional growth
  • You have strong communication skills

What you will do:

  • Contribute across the full stack of web technology, frontend, API, backend
  • Build out our digital experience, as we add new services and features.
  • Collaborate on tight-knit teams - teach us what you know and learn from us
  • Identify areas of technical debt and influence roadmap plans with smart solutions

Bonus Points:

  • Experience in our tech stack: Golang, Ruby on Rails, React, TypeScript, NextJS, GraphQL, HL7 FHIR, MySQL, PostgreSQL

** This role will be for new college recent graduates with the position starting in 2022
