Software Engineer, Xpring Developer Tools
{X}pring is Ripple’s developer platform for payments. We design, build and participate in open networks democratizing the world of payments, helping money move as easily as data does today through technologies such as Interledger and XRP Ledger.
We are seeking senior software engineers with strong experience developing consumer grade tools and services that will enable other developers to seamlessly build on top of our core technologies. In this role you will work with different engineering teams to build the abstractions and interfaces that make it seamless for other developers to contribute and actualize the future of the Internet of Value (IOV).
Our team works with the largest developer audience possible. We are engineers + storytellers, representing {X}pring to communities all around the world, inspiring the creation of the future where money flows like data today.
WHAT YOU MAY WORK ON:
- Work closely with product, design and other engineering teams to build scalable, performant and tools and services
- Research new technologies, build prototypes and write clean and maintainable code
- Leverage full stack technologies and consumer grade UI frameworks to engage and delight our developers
- Work with other external entrepreneurs and ecosystem stakeholders to continuously improve the efficacy of our tools and services
WHAT YOU MAY LOOK LIKE:
- BS/MS in Computer Science or a related technical field
- Have used modern javascript frameworks such as React or Angular
- Developed consumer grade web applications, services and/or mobile experiences
- 6+ years of experience building consumer grade tools and services in Javascript (ES6+), Python, Ruby or similar
- Passionate about developer experience, interface design and easy of use
WHAT ARE NICE TO HAVES:
- Experience with ReactJS and its ecosystem of tools
- Experience building technology for other engineers and developers
- Familiar with cloud technologies and service oriented architectures
