DoorDash is looking for a senior engineering manager with strong product sense to oversee our Dasher engineering team in San Francisco. The DoorDash dasher app is now being used by hundreds of thousands of users and has reached the top-10-downloads in the Business / Tools sections of the App Store / Play Store. There's a wide breadth of problems to solve across mobile, web, and backend, including dasher growth and on-boarding, core experience and retention, earnings and pay, and much more.

What you’ll do

• Scale the team by developing internal leaders (managers and senior IC’s) and attracting world-class talent
• Provide technical guidance and leadership for a team of 25+ engineers
• Engage with key business stakeholders to define the roadmap and vision for our Dasher product
• Collaborate with the marketing team to define and execute our dasher growth strategy
• Build a world-class, differentiated flexible earnings platform

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in people management, ideally leading a team size of 20+ and managing other managers
• Prior experience working on a user-facing product
• Extensive experience as an engineer in a product focused development environment
