The Money Movement team works on a mix of mature and developing products that power various components of the money movement process across the broader fintech ecosystem. Our customers range from early-stage startups to large corporations that rely on Plaid as critical infrastructure. We’re a highly collaborative cross-functional team that has goals-based ownership of our outcomes, meaning we are responsible for not just building the technology & products but also growing their usage and iterating closely with customers on ways to improve. We’re interested in improving the quality of our solutions while developing a stable technology base that both allows for reliability as well as development velocity.

One of the core benefits that Plaid can provide on top of core transfer capabilities is the ability to leverage Plaid’s data capabilities to make transfers smarter. The insights team is focused on delivering this value either through distinct insight products or through insight services added on to other Plaid products, such as the bank transfers API.

As an engineering manager responsible for transfer insights within money movement, you’ll grow and lead a team of 5-10 backend and machine learning engineers. This team works on building models and infrastructure to power our insight services, including key areas such as fraud detection. The team owns its infrastructure and products end-to-end, with the responsibility to work closely with customers to ensure solutions are meeting customer needs while building strong technical foundations that enable long-term success. You’ll be working closely with other Plaid engineering teams, product managers, designers, sales & growth and our current & prospective customers to chart out a course for the technical & product future.

We're guided by our principles, including impact, growing together, embracing openness and positivity, and inventing tomorrow; we're looking for people motivated by those same principles.
