The Software Quality Engineer will work within an agile, cross-functional scrum team to deliver high-quality software. This includes collaboration on requirements/design, writing test cases, manual testing of new features, and writing and maintaining automated regression tests. As the Software Quality Engineer, you will report to the Senior Manager, Quality Engineering and you will:
- Assist and execute test plans, scripts, and procedures (manual and automated)
- Groom existing test cases for selection into smoke/regression suites
- Work cross-functionally with product, design, and engineering as part of Agile teams
- Participate, alongside the development team, in gathering requirements and processes to be implemented into the Earnest software ecosystem
- Develop test automation frameworks and test cases
- Be a voice of automation-focused QA culture
Ideal background and expertise:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years experience in QA with a progressive increase of responsibility.
- 2+ years experience with frontend and backend automation framework.
- 1+ years of JavaScript experience required.
