The Opportunity

The Solution Engineer for Professional Artistry Emerging Products, will be a technical leader within our Create Sales Organization, working with our most important customers! By partnering with Unity’s Sales specialists, you will lead technical product positioning. Making assessments, proposals, product demonstrations, while assisting during all pre-sales activities you will advance the sales process for Media & Entertainment products and Content Business Unit.

The main responsibility for this role is to proactively work with the Emerging Products sales team to drive the growth of the newly-formed Unity Professional Artistry division. Through a deep understanding of the technologies as applied to the target market and key accounts, the candidate must be able to effectively understand the challenges of creating 3D content. The Emerging Products portfolio encompasses a collection of products that demonstrate the power of AI to allow creators of all types to create faster and better art, be it for gaming, VFX, archviz, or other industries! The most mature products in this portfolio are ArtEngine and SpeedTree, which will be the immediate and primary focus of this role, with scope growing as new products launch.

What you’ll be doing

  • Understanding the client’s artistic goals, and technical requirements, creating and presenting professional and persuasive solutions.
  • Lead the technical sales process to ensure all inquiries from the customer are followed up and dealt with during the pre-sales cycle in a timely and professional manner.
  • Follow-up trial engagements and demo requests from target markets, and key customers
  • Achieve maximum high-conversion rates, and success by working with a sales resource to deliver tailored demonstrations, pilot programs, etc.
  • Building excellent working relationships with solution sales and sales teams, partners, and, working with end- clients to help the sales process and supply information to cross-functional teams.

What we’re looking for:

  • Knowledge of 3D content artistry in Film & Television or Gaming (ideally both!) and experience creating assets in digital content creation tools for real-time engines
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to tell a story through relatable industry anecdotes, and craft exciting demos and presentations
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to focus on what is important and instinctively discern opportunities which are to deliver results
  • Presentation skills with a high degree of competency conversing with technical leaders, artists, IT management, and developers
  • Bachelor degree in a field related to this industry

You might also have:

  • Experience with Unity
  • Passion for perfection in customer service
  • Excellent verbal and written skills in another language
