Position: Sr. Java Software Engineer (RestAPI)

Responsibilities:

• Developing and owning components of a large scale distributed system with a keen sense for high performance and scalability
• You will be expected to participate in all phases of the product development cycle, from definition, design, through implementation and test
• Develop functional specifications, assess task requirements and scheduling, and participate in the development, debug and support

Qualifications:

• 5+ years experience and proficiency in programming languages - Java, C/C++, Python, (Back-end Application Development - not UI)
• Strong knowledge of Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar
• Strong in Algorithms and Data Structures
• Strong in fundamentals - High-performance Computing, Event-based programming, Multi-threading, Memory optimization, Fault Tolerance etc
• Ability to work with Rest APIs from SaaS services like Gmail/Google Drive, Office 365/One Drive/SharePoint, Dropbox/Box, etc.
• Good understanding of distributed systems
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
• Self-starter takes initiative & ownership, identifies and completes tasks; goal driven
• Ability to work with remote teams, handle multiple tasks, prioritize and meet deadlines
• You are a highly motivated, self-driven individual who relishes working in a startup environment
