The ideal candidate is hands-on and has a software engineering background, either in development or in testing. The candidate takes active position discussing product requirements and technical details related to implementation of those requirements, shows systematic approach to test plan development and strives to automate quality assurance processes. We are looking for a person who is a team player, prefers "to drive" over "being driven", would take ownership of the quality assurance process in our team and be proactive about improving this process, take an active part in product and technical decisions and participate in estimation and as well as help us to figure out accurate and realistic deadlines.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the roduct and engineering team to figure out product requirements and determine quality requirements
• Review and advise on quality aspects of designs and implementation
• Design and automate test cases
• Help engineering team to discover edge-cases where the product may work unstably
• Improve the CI/CD process
• Drive release process
• Review and recommend improvements to existing QA processes

Requirements:

• BS in Computer Science
• 6-8 years of software engineering or QE experience
• Experienced in test automation, experience with a Test Automation Framework is a "must-have"
• Fluent in one or more computer languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript
• Experienced writing SQL statements to query and manipulate data
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
• Strong communication skills
