The Senior Full-stack Web Developer is a senior role on the digital marketing web team. This position will be a primary front- and back-end (full-stack) development resource. You will drive all aspects of website development including interpreting requirements, design implementation, development, maintenance, testing, and optimization. Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Technical Web Marketing, you will also contribute to strategic planning, website migrations, digital marketing roadmap, project leadership, and business process improvement.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a high-performance, optimized, and responsive Drupal/WordPress website creating custom themes, templates, and features as well as enhance existing customizations
  • Lead the website Drupal/WordPress version upgrade, mobile-first optimizations, and website hosting initiative
  • Collaborate with the web, design and UX teams to formulate effective, fluid designs and transpose those requirements into a working theme
  • Advanced and unique theming for custom look and feel supporting accessibility and responsive design
  • Manage complex integration utilizing 3rd party APIs, views, and other methods
  • Installation, configuration, and administration of Drupal and associated modules
  • Collect and analyze user requirements
  • Translate business requirements into functional/technical specifications
  • Test, debug, validate, launch, and support web activities
  • Contribute to UX decisions and design
  • Serve as technical expert involved in training, customer consultation, and documentation
  • Lead or guide other team members through training, mentoring, and influence
  • Research and evaluate new and emerging technologies
  • Other similar duties maybe assigned as needed

Requirements:

The role requires development in the latest web-based frameworks and technologies including WordPress 5+, Drupal 7/8/9, PHP, HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS.

  • Bachelor's Degree required, Computer Science preferred
  • Must possess at least 5+ years of web development experience
  • Experience working in Enterprise managed hosting like Pantheon / WP Engine
  • Advanced knowledge of LAMP stack
  • Expert-level experience in building sites using WordPress new version and good knowledge on customization per the design needs
  • Experience with managing Drupal sites
  • Expert-level knowledge of server-side scripting languages-primarily PHP
  • In depth experience working with Database (MYSQL) and knowledge of database optimization in CMS environment.
  • Expert experience creating development workflows and setting up CI/CD environments
  • Expert experience in creating custom Drupal modules and WordPress plugins
  • Expert experience with different CSS frameworks, experience with SASS and hands-on experience writing well-structured CSS/CSS3
  • Expert in writing JavaScript and experience using popular JavaScript libraries, like jQuery
  • Experience building responsive websites for different screen sizes
  • Demonstrated excellence in solving technical and design implementation challenges
  • Knowledge and expertise with cross-browser compatibility issues (CSS, JavaScript, DHTML)
  • Strong experience using Git for development and source control
  • Familiarity with marketing technologies including Marketo, Salesforce, 6Sense, GA and GTM
  • Understanding of UX design principles
  • Ability to effectively deal with unforeseen crises with quick analysis and decisive direction
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision in a deadline driven environment with competing demands
  • Positive, collaborative, curious, self-motivated individual with high level of enthusiasm, sense of urgency, and willingness to learn and implement new technologies
