Position: Staff DevOps Engineer

The Engineering team develops innovative solutions that are transforming the internet security business, and millions of users rely on our service for data protection and comprehensive security. We also provide real-time analytics to our customers for unmatched visibility and maintain a state-of-the-art NOC. The development team works on web filtering, policy enforcement, next-gen firewall, sandboxing, DLP, and mobile user solutions. Being responsive to our customers and delivering industry-leading mission-critical solutions require precise engineering and a philosophy of continuous improvement, both areas in which Zscaler engineers excel.
Responsibilities/What You'll Do:

• You will architect, automate and build pipeline to promote qualified Infrastructure public Cloud (Azure, AWS and GCP) Marketplace for customer deployment.
• You will develop, deploy and monitor automation pipeline to upgrade Application packages to Public Cloud workloads.
• You will monitor Customer Public Cloud Zscaler Application workloads, setup Alerts, Troubleshoot issues and perform recovery actions.
• You will automate, Monitor Infrastructure, Application deployment and upgrades on an Engineering Cloud workloads in OpenStack, AWS, Azure, GCP and ESXI environment.
• You will triage, troubleshoot cloud workload issues and coordinate with the development team to resolve them.
• You will work on introducing next generation Zscaler functionalities and coordinate POC customer onboarding in Preview Cloud.
• You will interface with Engineering, QA, NOC and OPS team members to address Dev, Demo, Preview, Beta and production cloud workload issues.

Qualifications/Your Background:

• 10+ years of overall experience in DevOps/Software Development.
• Strong programming skills in Python and Shell Scripting. C/C++ experience is a plus.
• Working experience with TCP/IP Routing Protocol.
• Background in Linux systems.
• Experience with cloud technologies such as OpenStack, VMware, AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Work with technologies like Ansible, Terraform, and CI/CD platforms.
• Ensure reliability, scalability, and performance for all our deployments and environments, both internally and externally.
• Automate and create workloads using CICD tools that enable all engineers to develop high-quality, production code quickly.
