About the Role

Technical Quality Lead, who owns, enjoys & contributes towards the quality of the whole product, covering functional, automation, performance, scalability, usability testing & beyond with 8 - 12 years of experience.

Technical Skills:

*Strong expertise in understanding features product architecture, and come up with 100% test coverage for the features developed.

*Optimises test cases without compromising on quality.

*Able to deploy applications on Docker, Kubernetes & debug technical issues.

*Integration with CI tools like Jenkins, Drone, etc

*Working knowledge of at least one Cloud Platforms (Google Cloud, Amazon AWS, Azure, etc)

*Good programming knowledge in Java (Python, JS is a bonus)

*Automation experience in UI and/or APIs

*Has continuously improved, extended automation frameworks.

*Should be well versed with DevOps domain like Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, etc.

*Should be passionate about exploratory testing, in-sprint automation using various open-source or licensed tools (eg: Testim), performance testing, etc.

Responsibilities:

*Understands the feature requirements and tests the features for quality, scalability, usability, performance, etc by working closely with the PMs, Devs, CS teams, etc

*Automate repeated steps related to testing, setting up the environment, configuration, etc.

*Follows all Quality Hygiene processes (updates Test case, Bug & Test script attributes such as priority, components, tags, Escape analysis, etc)

*Involve & participate actively in CFD analysis, drive RCA for the CFDs, learn from the gaps, and focus on continuous improvement.

*Applies the "Test Pyramid" model and ensures quality is built-in across the Product life cycle.

*Leverages Alpha & Beta testing for eligible features, ensures customer needs are met across different Personas

*Contributes to everyday release by applying shift left testing principles

*Constantly evaluate, research, and perform PoCs for new tools & solutions resulting in higher productivity, efficiency, and positive business outcomes.
