Job Description
What you get to do in this role:
- Build high-quality, clean, scalable and reusable code by enforcing best practices around software engineering architecture and processes (Code Reviews, Unit testing, etc.)
- Work closely with the product owners to understand detailed requirements and own your code from design, implementation, test automation and delivery of high-quality product to our users.
- Designing and implement software that is simple, intuitive and easy to use that will allow customers to extend and customize the functionality to meet their specific business needs
- Play a key role in the design and implementation of new products and features while also enhancing the existing product suite
- Act as a mentor for colleagues and help drive knowledge-sharing
Qualifications

Design and develop the best cloud software for businesses using the ServiceNow platform.
Work closely with the product owners to understand detailed requirements and own your code from design, implementation, test automation, and delivery of high-quality products to our users.
· Collaborate day-to-day with an energetic team of like-minded developers, product managers, and quality engineers using agile software development methodology.
· Master new functional areas and take ownership of features that matter to our customers.
· Design features with a core commitment to quality and an eye to how the products will evolve in future releases.
In order to be successful in this role, we need someone who has:
· ServiceNow platform development experience will be highly desired for this role.
Engineering or master's degree in computer science or equivalent.
· 6 years working in a comparable software development role
· Expertise in coding efficient, object-oriented, and modularized software.
· Experience with Java and Object-oriented JavaScript.
· Experience working with JavaScript libraries such as Angular/React JS, Bootstrap, jQuery, and Prototype.
· Good knowledge of AJAX, JSON, XML, SOAP, REST, and associated frameworks.
· Exposure to the ServiceNow platform and ML/AI is a big plus.
· Passion for software development and problem-solving.
· Demonstrated aptitude for learning new technologies quickly.
· Exceptional debugging, testing, and problem-solving skills.
· Strong written and verbal communication.
