Job Description
What you get to do in this role:
Team
Industry Vertical Products. Work with a talented group of developers building out next-generation technologies on the ServiceNow cloud platform. This team is responsible for building & architecting innovative Industry Vertical Products on the ServiceNow platform used by many Fortune 500 companies.
Role
You will have the opportunity to work on exciting technologies such as mobile, UI componentry, predictive intelligence, workflow & automation, and developer tools & IDE.

- Build the best cloud software for the Industry Verticals Applications Development team driving the value of our products and services to the next level.
- Collaborate day-to-day with an energetic team of like-minded developers, product managers, and quality engineers using agile software development methodology.
- Master new functional areas and take ownership of features that matter to our customers.
- Design features with a core commitment to quality and an eye to how the products will evolve in future releases
- Coach and guide the team members on the development and testing best practices.
- Establish common design patterns and be able to document and present the architecture if different features.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you have:
- 8+ years working in a comparable software development role with Full Stack experience
- Passion for software development and problem-solving
- High energy, self-starter with an aptitude for learning new technologies
- Expertise in coding efficient, object-oriented, modularized, and quality software
- Expertise in front-end design and JavaScript libraries such as AngularJS, Bootstrap, and jQuery
- Expertise with Java, OOP, and Design Patterns
- Knowledge of AJAX, JSON, HTML, XML, CSS, SOAP, REST, and associated frameworks
- Knowledge of unit testing, profiling, and code tuning
- Knowledge in ServiceNow application development is desirable.
- Should have good communication skills.
- Takes ownership of design and coaches the engineering team by establishing best practices by means of constant research in evolving product and platform technologies.
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science or similar discipline

Work personas are categories that are assigned to employees depending on the nature of their work. Employees will fall into one of three categories: Remote, Flexible or Required in Office.
Required in Office
A required in office work persona is defined as an employee who is contracted to work from or aligned to a ServiceNow-affiliated office. This persona is required to work from their assigned workplace location 100% of the work week based on the business needs of their role.
Flexible
A flexible work persona is defined as an employee who is contracted to work from or aligned to a ServiceNow-affiliated office and will work from their assigned workplace location roughly 3 days/week or less (generally around 40-60% of the work week). Flexible employees may choose to work the remaining working time from their workplace location or home. Flexible employees are required to work within their state, province, region, or country of employment.
Remote
A remote work persona is defined as an employee who performs their responsibilities exclusively outside of a ServiceNow workplace and is not contracted or aligned to a ServiceNow-affiliated office, including those whose place of work (pursuant to their terms and conditions of employment) is their home. Remote employees are required to work within their state, province, region, or country of employment.
