Job Description

We are looking for a talented Staff Software Engineer who will help us develop the next generation Digital Experience product (ZDX). You will work with engineers who have built the #1 cloud security product to help our customers measure the digital experience of their employees and point to specific issues causing degradation to experience and productivity.

Qualifications

• 8+ years software development experience in large-scale commercial networking oriented applications
• Expert-level programming skills in C and Unix.
• Hands on Experience in troubleshooting networking issues using tools like Wireshark, tcpdump, curl, wget etc.
• Knowledge with HTTP and web proxies.
• Experience in Load balancers, Web Servers and Routers in multi-threading / multi-core / fault tolerant real-time embedded platforms.
• Experience developing micro services using RESTful APIs.
• Good exposure in developing services on at least one of the cloud platforms - AWS/AZURE/GCP.
• Comfortable with python and writing unit test cases for features developed.
• Strong in fundamentals - TCP/IP, Socket Programming and Fault Tolerance.
• Familiar with the complete software development cycle.
• Self-starter, quick-learner, able to multitask, and collaborate with others in a team environment.
• BS/MS degree (Engineering/Computer Science) .

Desired Skills

• Experience with Linux/FreeBSD based networking solutions.
• Experiencing in Security, High performance Computing, Event based programming,
• Working in Agile teams to push new code into production every sprint.
• Experience with JavaScript and browser agents.
• Experience in Cloud based network monitoring solutions is a plus.
